Man Assaulted, Stabbed In Engleside: Police
The Fairfax County police are searching for two men who punched and stabbed a man Wednesday night in a neighborhood off Route 1.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Fairfax County police are investigating an assault Wednesday evening near Richmond Highway (Route 1) in which a man was stabbed, according to a police report. The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, the police said.
Officers responded at 7:38 p.m. to the scene in the 5300 block of Pole Road, off Jeff Todd Way in the Engleside area, where they found the victim with a stab wound to his upper body.
The man told the officers that he was walking down Pole Road to meet a friend when two other men approached him. They punched and stabbed him before running away, the police said.

The two assailants are described as black teenagers wearing blue jeans and black T-shirts, the police said.
