Police Arrest Man Accused of Robbing Woman at Knifepoint

A 42-year-old man was arrested after police say he robbed a woman at knifepoint.

Authorities said that at 11:18 p.m. Friday on the 7300 block of Richmond Highway, a woman was walking when she was approached by a man who displayed a knife.

The man took property from the woman and fled on foot. Responding officers were able to track and capture the man they believed had robbed the woman.

Raymond Garner, of Springfield, was charged with robbery. The woman was not injured in the incident.
