UPDATE: Stabbing Murder: Police Identify Victim
Fairfax County Police say suspect is husband of fatal stabbing victim.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- (UPDATE 1:45 p.m.) Fairfax County Police say the victim who died after being stabbed early Monday morning is Yesenia Membrano-Diaz, 35, of the Mount Vernon area.
Fairfax County Police have arrested Ricardo Molina-Martinez, a suspect in the fatal stabbing in the Mount Vernon Area, police announced.
The man, in his 40s, is the husband of the 35-year old Mount Vernon area woman who was fatally stabbed early Monday, according to police.

Fairfax County Police officers responded early Monday to the 8400 block of Diablo Court, after a resident reported she heard screaming outside and then saw a woman outside on the ground.
Officers found the victim, a 37-year old woman, who was unresponsive, suffering from trauma to the upper body, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives from the Major Crimes Division and from the Crime Scene Section are investigating.

A K9 team and FCPD's helicopter, Fairfax 1, responded to help search for a suspect. He’s described as a heavy-set man, wearing all dark clothing, who was seen leaving the scene, police said. The victim has not yet been positively identified. Detectives do not believe that this is a random incident and there is no threat to public safety.
