Buy a Christmas Tree From Vale Church, Feed 100 Hungry People!
Christmas Tree, Christmas Wreath and Evergreen Garland Sale with 100% of profits going to local and international hunger charities.
Starting on Saturday, November 25, buy a fresh-cut Christmas tree from Vale United Methodist Church (11528 Vale Road, Oakton, VA), and your purchase will provide 100 life-saving meals for hungry children and families around the world. For the seventh straight year, proceeds from Vale Church’s tree sale will be donated to the global relief organization Rise Against Hunger (www.riseagainsthunger.org), as well as being used for local anti-hunger efforts here in Fairfax County.
The high-quality trees come in a range of sizes and varieties. Wreaths and pine roping are also available. Enjoy free hot cider and cookies while you shop. Hours are 9am to 6pm Saturdays, 11am to 5pm Sundays, and 6pm to 9pm Mon-Fri, until all of the trees are gone. For more information, call 703-620-2594 or email vale.church@verizon.net.
