Clear Skies to Follow Monday Storms: Weekly Weather Report
After thunderstorms pass through the Oakton area on Monday afternoon, the weather is projected to take a turn for the better.

The final week of August will begin with afternoon thunderstorms throughout the Northern Virginia region, but once those storms pass the weather is projected to be quite lovely.
Clear skies dominate the week’s forecast beginning Tuesday, and highs each day range from the low- to mid-80s. Monday’s storms are expected to begin in the late afternoon, likely after 4 p.m., and it’s expected they’ll pass by 10 p.m. Monday evening.
