Dive: Otters Drop First Meet

The Oakton Otters dive team lost to Donaldson Run in their opening meet Tuesday, but saw two of its divers top the rankings in their age groups.

Sisters Elana and A.J. Colbert earned first place in the intermediate and senior groups, respectively. Four other female divers placed for the Otters, who hosted the meet at Oakton Swim and Racquet Club.

Otters placed in the following events:

Freshman Girls:

• Haley Liddell, second place 56.75 

Junior Girls:

• Mackenzie Brennan, second place 94.75
• Kyla Straker, third place 78.95

Intermediate Girls:

• Elana Colbert, first place, 142.30
• Julia Powell, third place, 127.80

Senior Girls:

• A.J. Colbert, first place, 208.00
