The Oakton Media Group Open House from 6-7 p.m. will include interactive demonstrations by students from the Paragon yearbook, Oakton Outlook newsmagazine, Opus literary magazine and the Cougar News team. If you or your student are interested in getting involved in the award-winning media programs that Oakton produces or simply want to meet other OMG parents, please stop by to see what goes on behind the scenes of these award-winning productions.
The guest speaker for the evening, Steve Klein, is a journalism professor at George Mason University. Mr. Klein will be discussing the future of careers in journalism from 7-8 p.m.
All Oakton students and parents are invited to attend this free event! Light refreshments will be served.
