Local, National Organizations to Host Climate-Change Webinar Following White House Summit

The webinar, geared toward Virginians, will discuss the findings from last week's summit on how climate change is impacting our health.

Last week, the White House, the American Lung Association (ALA) in Virginia and the Allergy & Asthma Network gathered for a summit to hear the Surgeon General’s comments on how climate change is impacting our health.

One week later, the Virginia ALA and Tonya Winders, CEO and President of the Asthma & Allergy Network, will host a free webinar to discuss the summit and how climate change has impacted the health and wellbeing of families and individuals throughout the state of Virginia.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, June 30, at 10 a.m., and organizations such as the American Cancer Society Action Network, the Partnership for a Healthier Fairfax and the Virginia Asthma Coalition are all expected to participate.
