Thomas Bamford of Oakton, Va., died on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at his home.

Loving husband of 66 years to Patricia J. Bamford; devoted father of Thomas (Carol) Bamford, Kathryn A. Bamford, Christina (Stephen) Carlidge, and Stephen (Nancy) Bamford; cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Sybil Bamford and sister, Alice Verby.

A funeral service will be held at the United States Military Academy at West Point on Friday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m.
