Oakton Otter Divers Undefeated in Division 3 of NVSL
The Oakton Otters won a decisive dive meet against Pinecrest Tuesday evening to bring their winning record to 3-0.
The Otter divers remain undefeated with a winning record of 3-0 after Tuesday night's decisive win over Pinecrest with a final score of 48.5 to 22.5. Six Otter divers placed first in their respective categories: Jon Anthony Montel in Freshman Boys with a score of 72.1; Samantha Shuster in Junior Girls with a score of 78.9; Brendan Doe in Junior Boys with a score of 90.45; Molly Estes in Intermediate Girls with a score of 138.2; Spencer Dearman in Intermediate Boys with a score of 171.5; and Sarah Gurley in Senior Girls with a score of 182.35. The Otters swept the categories of Freshman Boys (Ryan Shipley, second; Leo Estes, third), Intermediate Girls (Kalina Montel, second; Leah Fisher, third), and Intermediate Boys (Nicholas Shuster, second; Blaise Wuest, third). The other Otters who placed were: Isabelle Whang (Freshman Girls, second); Meghan Shipley (Freshman Girls, third); and Liam Klopfenstein (Senior Boys, second).
The next dual meet is on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at home against Old Keene Mill at 6:00 pm.
