Oakton Otters Defeat Hayfield Farm in Division 3 Dive Meet
Otters are Undefeated with a Winning Record of 2-0
The Otter divers won their second meet of the season against Hayfield farm on Tuesday July 3, with a final score of 47 to 24. The Otters' winning record is 2-0. Seven Otter divers placed first in their respective categories: Samantha Shuster in Freshman Girls with a score of 62.35; Zac Lee in Freshman Boys with a score of 55.15; Katie Vaughan in Junior Girls with a score of 129.5; Jon Anthony Montel in Junior Boys with a score of 88.3; Josh Shipley in Intermediate Boys with a score of 132.15; Sarah Gurley in Senior Girls with a score of 216.15; and Spencer Dearman in Senior Boys with a score of 177.2. The Otters swept the category of Freshman Boys (Leo Estes in second and James Hayden in third). The other Otters who placed were: Molly Kenefick (Intermediate Girls, third); Blaise Wuest (Intermediate Boys, second); Kyla Straker (Senior Girls, second); and Liam Klopfenstein (Senior Boys, third).
The next dual meet is on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Pinecrest at 6:00 pm.
