Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Dog With A Strong Spirit

One of the available pets is Muffen, a sweet cocker spaniel that's fought through some hard times. One of her eyes was removed due to severe glaucoma, but she's had time to recover and show the kind of sweet companion she'll be.

Muffen is a the sweetest little golden gal on the planet! You cannot find a dog who shined through adversity such as her. She came to us with severe glaucoma and we removed her eye so she would feel much better! Now that she is in foster care and has had time to rehabilitate, she is a lovely dog. Mostly likely due to her severe pain she was not the happiest camper for vetting so an adopter would need to be prepared to manage that. Her previous owner stated that she was not a big fan of other dogs or cats, however she is in a foster home with another low energy dog and they seem to co-exist nicely.
