Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Onyx The Aptly Named Black Cat
If you don't think black cats are lucky, Onyx might change your mind.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Plenty of shelter pets are hoping luck will be on their side this St. Patrick's Day as they look for their forever ones. If you're searching for a new furry friend, consider looking first at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. The shelter takes in needy pets and connects them to new homes.
One of the available pets is Onyx, a black cat that doesn't bear the stereotype of being unlucky. In fact, he's a playful feline that loves playtime and cruising around in his cat stroller.
