Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Playful And Affectionate Annie

Looking for a Valentine as Feb. 14 approaches? There's no better companion than a new furry friend. You can start your search at Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which shelters pets in need.

One of their available pets is Annie, a cat with a spunky personality. Here's a full description from AWLA:

Annie, Domestic Short Hair

Don’t be fooled by Annie’s excellent camouflage. When she’s in an outgoing mood, she struts right up to new friends to introduce herself and show off her beautifully striped belly. Annie considers herself the purrfect mix of affection and fun. When she isn't soaking up the love, she can be found exploring and rolling around in catnip like it's a pile of dollar bills. As silly as Annie can be, she would prefer a calm, adults-only home where she can find her own peaceful spot to recharge. And then, after a long day of playing and keeping an eye on the local birds (through the window, of course!), you’ll find her curled up right beside you, purring away!
