Alexandria Film Festival 2019 Returns In November
As November rolls around, film lovers can enjoy a four-day festival of movies.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — In the time between Halloween and the Christmas season, it can be harder to find entertainment. Alexandrians won't have that problem as the Alexandria Film Festival returns on Nov. 7 to 10 at AMC Hoffman Theater 22.
Movie lovers are drawn to Alexandria for four days of short and feature-length films. The festival features local, national, and international filmmakers. The programs will include special guests and Q&A sessions.
The event is ticketed, but a free option will be held Friday, Nov. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Beatley Library. Alexandria Film Festival is partnering with Northern Virginia Community College to showcase "Films by NOVA Students." Filmmakers will be present for a Q&A session.
