Alexandria Gets a Little Sweeter with New Nothing Bundt Cakes

Friends Find Sweet Way to Work Together

Gina and Doug Brown, Daniel Delgado, and Lisa and Leo LaPointe are excited about their new Nothing Bundt Cakes in Alexandria and their ability to celebrate their friendship that began 25 years ago. Especially after a year that has had its challenges, the friends say that having a place that celebrates joyous occasions and brings happiness is just what they all wanted. “Alexandria is a beautiful place with so much history and an amazing city life,” shared Gina. “We were looking for a way to start something together and we believe we found that -- Nothing Bundt Cakes and happiness go hand-in-hand. We are thrilled to share the joy of these amazing cakes with this special community.” The bakery will celebrate their grand opening soon which will include a ribbon cutting, benefit day and community giveaway (see details below).

    • Animal Welfare League of Alexandria Benefit Day – 20% of sales will be donated to this organization dedicated to inspiring compassion for all living things, providing shelter to animals in need, and promoting adoptions, animal welfare and responsible pet ownership in our community.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is located at 4553 Duke Street and is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is the first Nothing Bundt Cakes in Alexandria and the ninth bakery in Virginia.
