Alexandria Holiday Lamp Post Art Walk Opens For Season
This first-every art walk features holiday art on lamp posts from The Art League artists.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — A lot has changed for the holiday season in Alexandria due to the pandemic, but there is one new feature to enjoy this year. The first-ever Holiday Lamp Post Art Walk has opened in Old Town.
This art walk features holiday-themed art on lamp posts throughout Old Town Alexandria. Old Town Business collaborated with 25 artists from The Art League for this effort along King Street and side streets. A ribbon cutting was held Sunday with Mayor Justin Wilson, representatives from The Art League, Old Town Business Association, and some participating artists.
Visitors are encouraged to take a walking tour to see all the lamp posts with art. Here is a map of the art locations.
