Alexandria Police To Hold Training Exercise Wednesday
Don't be alarmed if you see officers dressed in tactical gear or hear loud intermittent noises in the city, police said.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Don't be alarmed if you see officers dressed in tactical gear or hear loud intermittent noises in the city on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
According to the Alexandria Police Department, its officers will be conducting a training exercise at 4550 N. Pegram St. from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There will be many police vehicles in the area, police said.

While it may seem that police are responding to a real emergency in that location, it is only a drill.
