ALEXANDRIA, VA — When Gebremedhin Ogbazghi saw someone else playing the Supreme Cash lottery ticket at a 7-Eleven store in Alexandria, he made a wise decision to do the same. That's because he won a top prize of $300,000 in the Virginia Lottery game.

Ogbazghi was at the store to purchase a money order, and he ended up buying $25 worth of scratch tickets. His winning ticket came from the 7-Eleven at 4610 Kenmore Avenue in Alexandria. He plans to pay bills and save money with his winnings.

This was the first top prize winner in the Virginia Lottery's Supreme Cash Game. One other top prize is unclaimed.
