Bishop Ireton Announces New Softball Coach

Alexandria, VA- Bishop Ireton is pleased to announce Ann Krebs as the Cardinals new Varsity Softball Coach. Coach Krebs brings years of experience in softball and is committed to building a competitive program and fostering relationships with the student athletes, their families, and the BI community.

Coach Krebs comes to Bishop Ireton with an extensive softball background and a wealth of knowledge as a high level player and coach. Prior to coaching, she played softball at the collegiate level where her biggest accomplishment included a trip to the NCAA Elite 8 Championships.

Coach Krebs says she is excited to help the Cardinals to compete in the WCAC and looks forward to leading the program. She is committed to developing the player’s skills and promoting the highest level of sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Bishop Ireton’s Athletic Director Bill Simmons says, "Coach Krebs brings a strong technical background and a teaching approach to our program. She has played at a high level and coached every position. I am excited to see her join our Bishop Ireton family."
