Co-Workers of Man Killed in Alleyway Crash Raising Money For His Family
Jeremais Herrera Rodriguez had worked at The Warehouse Bar & Grill in Old Town for several years. He leaves behind a family.

Co-workers of Jeremais Herrera Rodriguez, tragically killed in Tuesday's alleyway crash in Old Town, have set up a fund to help ease the financial burden on his family in the wake of his sudden death.
Rodriguez had worked as a maintenance worker at The Warehouse Bar & Grill for many years.
"We lost a wonderful friend and co-worker [Tuesday] in a terrible accident. Jeremais worked with us for seven years, and was a truly hard-working husband and father," employees of The Warehouse posted on its Facebook page. "We are hoping to help ease some of the financial burden this tragedy brings to his family."

Family members are also trying to raise money to send Rodriguez' body back to Guatemala, to his family.
Of the $10,000 goal on the GoFundMe page set up for his family, nearly $4,000 from more than 70 donors had been raised within the first 24 hours.

"We have already seen great support from our friends and customers, and we are so lucky to know you," Megan Schulze of The Warehouse wrote on the GoFundMe page. "We will miss him fondly."
