Hank & Mitzi's Closes For 'Foreseeable Future' In Alexandria

The revamped concept of Hank's Pasta Bar had opened last summer during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Hank & Mitzi's Kitchen, the spinoff of Hank's Pasta Bar from the same restaurant group, has closed until further notice in Alexandria.

The restaurant made the announcement on its website and social media. The closure is in effect "for the foreseeable future."

"Opening a restaurant in the middle of a global pandemic was not without challenges and even with dedicated staff and loyal customers we find ourselves needing to pause, regroup, and determine the best way to move forward in this space," the website stated.
