Home Furnishings Store Coming to Alexandria: Report
Look for West Elm to open in a new development coming to 530 First St. in Alexandria in 2018, Washington Business Journal reports.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Home furnishings store West Elm is coming to North Old Town, according to a recent report by Washington Business Journal.
The store will be a part of the Edens development coming to 530 First St. The mixed-use development is described on the Edens Web site as being 22,388 square feet with sophisticated retail and dining options. The developers are expecting to build 232 luxury residences above 50,000 square feet of community-centered space. The development is located at First Street and Saint Asaph Street.
West Elm stores feature furniture, rugs, window treatments, bedding, lighting, pillows, candles, dinnerware and much more. There is another West Elm store in Northern Virginia in Tysons.

The development is scheduled to open in 2018.
