“Caught in the Net” — Catch this new performance from the Little Theatre of Alexandria at 8 p.m. A sequel to 2005 sellout “Run for you Wife!,” this new play follows John Smith, a London taxi driver with two wives in different parts of the city and a tight schedule to keep. Try Transit Week — Stop by the Alexandria Transit Store (near the corner of Duke Street and Diagonal Road) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for free daily giveaways all week. On Wednesday, those who bike over to the store will receive a free bike light, water bottle, bicycle helmet or 24-hour Capital Bikeshare coupon. More information on the city’s Local Motion website.

Narrow King Street? — Speaking of bikes, if you want to chime in on the city’s proposal to narrow a segment of King Street and remove on-street parking for bicycle lanes, city staff is hosting a meeting at 7 p.m. at Maury Elementary (600 Russell Road).
