New Capital Bikeshare Stations To Open In Alexandria
Bikeshare stations are opening and being planned near new developments in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The City of Alexandria announced four additional Capital Bikeshare stations will be installed in the coming weeks.
The stations are situated near developments that are recently or nearly completed. Funding comes from these new developments, but the bikes are available for public use.
The locations of the new Alexandria stations are:

- North Beauregard and Berkeley Streets
- Wheeler Avenue and South Floyd Street
- Mount Vernon Trail and South Washington Street
- Eisenhower Avenue and Ike Drive
A fifth new station will be added at North St. Asaph and Montgomery Streets in the late summer or early fall, after repaving of North St. Asaph is finished. This station will be near the new Gables development in Old Town North. Planning is underway for station at Strand and Duke Streets at the Robinson Landing development.
Capital Bikeshare bikes can be rented through an app or station kiosks and be returned at any station. There are stations in Alexandria, Arlington County, Falls Church, part of Fairfax County, Montgomery County, Maryland and Prince George's County, Maryland.
