New Daycare Center Opening in Alexandria

Bright Horizons recently opened its doors in the Carlyle neighborhood and will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 27.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A new daycare center recently opened in Alexandria. Bright Horizons announced that it was open Jan. 19 and will celebrate with a grand opening on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The early education and preschool center, located at 411 John Carlyle St., serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, with Infant to Kindergarten Prep programs as well as drop-in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you plan to go to the grand opening, there will be a musical performance by Mr. Charlie from FUNdamentals, children’s activities, face painting, raffle prizes, refreshments and more.
