Police Investigating Carjacking Wednesday Night in Alexandria
Suspect implied he had a weapon as a woman was trying to get into her car; the suspect drove away in her car, a 2016 silver Toyota RAV4.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a carjacking Wednesday night in the 400 block of S. Whiting Street, police announced in an alert Wednesday at 9:24 p.m.
A suspect implied he had a weapon as the victim attempted to enter her car, and drove away in the vehicle, police said. No one was injured, police said.
The car that was stolen was a 2016 silver Toyota Rav4.
