Police Respond to Report of Shot Fired on Pendleton Street
Police do not find bullet or casing.

Alexandria police responded to a report of a single shot fired around 4 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Pendleton Street near Old Town Grocery.
Police were unable to find any evidence of a shot being fired, however, as no bullet or casing were found at the scene, according to Alexandria police spokesperson Crystal Nosal.
There were no injuries in the incident.Â

Doug Wright, a nearby resident, told Patch he heard two shots followed by the sound of a car speeding away and then the sounds of people yelling and running.Â
