Updated Financial Center On John Carlyle Street Reflects Bank of America's Investment In Serving Alexandria and Greater Washington

Bank of America celebrated its latest Alexandria location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday morning inside the newly opened financial center in the heart of the town’s Carlyle neighborhood.
The location, at 415 John Carlyle Street, is Bank of America’s 10th financial center in the Alexandria/Springfield market and fourth in Alexandria proper. It reflects Bank of America’s investment of almost $50 million since 2016 into its network of financial centers throughout the Greater Washington region, resulting in 66 new or renovated centers.

Among the Carlyle financial center’s top features are a streamlined teller line, a secure ATM area and enclosed offices for private meetings with advisors. The financial center will partner with local schools to provide clinics from Bank of America’s Better Money Habits financial education program.
Among the ceremony’s attendees were Morgan Babcock, manager and coordinator of the Carlyle Council; Jerry Sanford, vice president of business development for the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership; Shannon Steene, executive director of Carpenter’s Shelter; Larry Di Rita, Greater Washington market president for Bank of America; Barry James, Greater Washington region executive for Bank of America; financial center associates and Bank of America customers. Two members of the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department, in uniform and with their ladder truck parked outside, were on hand as invited guests.
