St. Elmo's Coffee Pub Opens Old Town North Location
The Del Ray-based coffee shop opened a second location over the weekend.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Old Town North has a new option for your caffeine fix with the opening of St. Elmo's Coffee Pub.
The new coffee shop is open at 529 Montgomery Street, the owners announced Saturday. It is the sister shop of St. Elmo's Coffee Pub on Mount Vernon Avenue in the Del Ray neighborhood, which opened in 1996. The owners are Larry and Christine Ponzi, who also own Cafe Pizzaiolo, Market to Market and Piece Out Del Ray.
The initial menu includes pastries, bagels, smoothies, local yogurts, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, toasts, hot and cold sandwiches, quiches and salads. Wine and craft beer will be available when the location gets its liquor license, likely during the week of Jan. 11.
