Takeout Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint in Alexandria: Police
Police were on the scene Sunday night investigating an armed robbery of a take-out restaurant in Alexandria.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a commercial robbery that took place Sunday night at a take-out restaurant in the 5700 block of Edsall Road (see map below) in the West End of the City.
A suspect held up the restaurant at gunpoint and stole cash, police said. Police did not give the name of the eatery or a description of a suspect. There were no injuries, police said.
