March on Washington Anniversary — Today marks the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Check out this story from last week about two Alexandrians who were there.
