Vehicle Stolen While Victim Pumps Gas In Alexandria: Police

Police are seeking information on suspects who allegedly stole a vehicle and used the victim's credit card.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria Police are investigating the case of a stolen vehicle that happened while the victim was pumping gas.

The incident happened in the 700 block of South Patrick Street after 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7, according to police. A suspect entered the white 2017 Lexus GS400 through an unlocked door. No injuries were reported.

Two suspects were seen in a black 2018-2021 Mazda 6 with Maryland temporary tags. Security cameras also captured images of the suspects fraudulently using the victim’s credit card in Prince George’s County. Police have released images of the suspects and the suspect vehicle.

In light of the incident, Alexandria Police urge drivers to avoid leaving vehicles unattended when possible, lock vehicle doors and keep keys in hand while pumping gas.
