Yappy Hours for Your Canine Companions

Old Towners love their dogs. It's true. Old Towners also love their drinks.

So leave it to Hotel Monaco and Artfully Chocolate to leash it together.

Artfully Chocolate in the Carlyle neighborhood has partnered with local pet care company Paw'k Avenue to hold monthly Yappy Hours featuring food and drinks for canines and their keepers.

The next Thursday Yappy Hour is May 2, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the shop, located at 506 John Carlyle St. Other scheduled events include June 6, July 18, Aug. 15 and Sept. 19.

Doggie Yappy Hour at , is in full swing every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 5 p.m. now through October. The hotel offers free treats for pooches while their humans enjoy Jackson 20's bar menu.
