YES … it is time for the winter seasonal artisan Gelato!!

Casa Rosada started early with my favorite; peppermint bark available early this year - THANK YOU

I admit it, I LOVE ice cream, custard and especially artisan gelato. One of my favorite places in Old Town Alexandria is Casa Rosada, located at 111 S. Payne Street. This time of year, is especially wonderful as the winter seasonal flavors are available and ready to be served. Eggnog, pumpkin, gingerbread and of course my favorite peppermint bark.

Not only does Casa Rosada offer winter seasonal gelato, but they have some delightful summer sorbets, Passover themed gelato; charoset as well as classics that include vanilla, pistachio and stracciatella.

They also have great selection of gelato sandwiches, coffee and for our four-legged best friends; puppy treats.
