High school juniors and seniors in Reston, throughout Fairfax County, and the entire DMV region are encouraged to apply for the 2021 Bank of America Student Leaders summer leadership-development program, a unique, competitive, annual summer leadership-development program for some of America's most promising young people.

Application deadline is Friday, January 29, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. ET, and no extensions or exceptions will be granted. Students may apply online at https://www.bit.ly/bofastudentleaders; full eligibility criteria for the Student Leaders program are listed at https://about.bankofamerica.com/en-us/global-impact/student-leader-eligibility-criteria.html. More information is available at https://www.bankofamerica.com/studentleaders.

As part of the program, Student Leaders will participate in an eight-week paid internship with a local nonprofit organization, working 35 hours per week. The program culminates in a week-long expenses-paid National Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. The 2021 Summit is set for July 12-17, and may - like the 2020 Summit - be held virtually to comply with health guidelines for travel and gatherings.
