RESTON, VA -- The Reston Regional Library will be hosting a college planning session on Monday, May 13, from 7 to 8 p.m. in meeting rooms one and two. Anyone considering attending college, or the parents of high schoolers with students soon to be college-bound, will learn how to make college more affordable.
The cost of attending college has steadily risen, but experts from OneCommonwealth Advisors plan to share strategies to help ease that burden. They will highlight how to maximize financial aid, grants, and scholarships to lighten the load.
