Fairfax County Makes Decision On School Schedule Feb. 21
After snow and ice descended on the area on Wednesday, local officials have made a decision on the school schedule Thursday.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County schools will open two hours late on Thursday after a snowy and icy Wednesday forced the cancellation of school entirely.
Fairfax County tweeted late Wednesday afternoon that all schools will open two hours late on Thursday.
School offices and central offices will open on time, however. SACC (School Age Child Care) centers will open at 8 a.m.
