Fairfax County Makes Decision On Wednesday School Schedule
With snow and ice headed our way Wednesday, local officials have made a decision on the school schedule.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County school officials have decided to cancel school on Wednesday due to forecasts that the area will be hit with 2-5 inches of snow followed by a dangerous layer of ice.
Fairfax County Public Schools made the announcement in the late afternoon to early evening on Tuesday.
"Due to the winter storm warning in effect for our area, all Fairfax County public schools and offices will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019 (Condition 1)," Fairfax County Public Schools announced on their website.

Schools were delayed twice in late January and once earlier this month due to snow and cold.
