GridPoint Launches GoFundMe To Help Restaurant Workers

GridPoint's Reston office is raising money for restaurants and their staff impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

RESTON, VA — The Reston location of GridPoint, a smart buildings technology company, recently launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise money for restaurants and their employees who have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Through its #gridpointgives program, GridPoint is raising money for the Restaurant Workers Community Foundation's (RWCF) COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund, to help restaurants and their staffs negatively affected by the pandemic.

GridPoint has committed to match every dollar up to $5,000 raised via the GoFundMe campaign. As of 2 p.m., on Sept. 25, the campaigned has already raised $1,335 toward its goal of $5,000.
