Major New Residential Development Proposed In Reston: Report
The majority of Isaac Newton Square could be turned into residential units.

RESTON, VA -- A developer wants to turn most of Isaac Newton Square into a big new residential campus, according to a report.
The Washington Business Journal reports that Peter Lawrence Cos. and MRP Realty have applied with Fairfax County to redevelop two-thirds of the property near the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station.
The project would involve 2.8 million square feet of new construction which would predominantly be residential and include 2,100 units.
