New Restaurant: Bonchon Coming To Reston In June

Bonchon, the restaurant chain known for its double-fried Korean chicken, will be opening a new outlet in Reston.

RESTON, VA -- Bonchon, the South Korean made-to-order double-fried chicken chain, recently signed a lease to open its 17th location in Virginia, according to a press release. Bonchon Reston will open its doors in June at 11652 Plaza America Drive.

“We are excited that Bonchon continues to grow in popularity across Virginia and the U.S.,” said Flynn Dekker, CEO of Bonchon, in the release. “In Korean, Bonchon means ‘my hometown’ and how appropriate for us to share our hometown experience in the bustling and vibrant area of Reston.”

Bonchon operates 355 restaurants worldwide and 102 in the U.S., with 15 new locations opening in the past year. The company already operates a restaurant nearby at 13320 Franklin Farm Road, Suite E, in Herndon.

In addition to chicken, Bonchon Reston will offer a full menu of Korean specialties, including kimchi, bulgogi and japchae.
