Last Friday, Terraset Elementary School celebrated Unity Day as part of a month-long national campaign against bullying.
Principal Lindsay Trout and Assistant Principal Candace Hunstad presented every student, teacher and staff member with a bright orange T-shirt displaying the phrase, “Terraset Tigers Take a Stand Against Bullying.”
The entire school met on the new blacktop, soon to house temporary classrooms during the renovations, to pose for a photo.
Later that day, more 120 students and teachers proudly wore their shirts during the SLHS Homecoming Parade, producing a ribbon of orange along South Lakes Drive.
