RESTON, VA — Reston attorney Jay B. Myerson is the president-elect 2020-21 for the Virginia State Bar, according to a release. Myerson, who will step into his new role on July 1, will serve as the VSB's president for 2021-22. He is the first attorney from a Reston-based law firm to fill that position.

“It will be a privilege to work with the many talented attorneys across the Commonwealth,” Myerson said, in the release.“I’m especially looking forward to working with the wonderful VSB staff, the Chief Justice and other justices on Virginia’s Supreme Court.”
