Reston Bike Club's 34th Annual Century Ride to Take Over Town Centre Sunday

Proceeds from the ride will benefit local nonprofit organizations.

The Reston Bike Club (RBC) is gearing up for its 34th Annual Century ride this Sunday, Aug. 28 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Century is an annual ride hosted by the bike club. Riders can choose from three different routes that are roughly 33 (Half-Metric), 66 (Metric) or 105 miles (Century).

The ride will begin and end at the Reston Town Centre, and will follow much the same route as it did last year, which consisted of one large loop that wound through much of Loudoun County--from Hamilton to Round Hill, Hillsboro, Lovettsville, and keeping the Taylorstown and Stumptown hills, before returning to Leesburg and Reston Town Center. Some changes to the route are possible, depending on coordination with Loudoun County authorities.
