Reston Zoo Easter Egg Hunts This Weekend
Hippity, hoppity Easter's on its way Sunday, April 5. Zoo plans another weekend of Easter fun.

Looking to start a family holiday tradition for Easter this year? A good old-fashioned Easter egg hunt might fit the bill.
You can find several in the area, including several “eggstravaganzas” at the Reston Zoo. Here’s what they have planned this year:

The zoo has two weekends of fun planned. Egg hunts are scheduled for Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5.
In addition to feeding baby lambs, goats and bunnies, kids will also get the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny.

All Easter egg hunts at the Reston Zoo will include eggs filled with candy, stickers, toys, and more, according to the zoo.
Children must attend the Easter egg hunts by age group:
- Safari Egg Hunts are for children 4-12 years old. The hunts for this age group are scheduled for 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Families will board a Zoo-fari Wagon for a trip out to the enormous Safari Egg Hunt Field for this egg hunt.
- Toddler Egg Hunts are for children 3 and younger only. The hunts for this age group are scheduled for 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. The location for this egg hunt will be at the picnic pavilion field, where stroller parking will be available.
Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets for collecting eggs. Families are asked to arrive early for this popular event. Last admission will be at 3 p.m. each day of the event.
Cost of admission:
- Adults: $12.95
- Children (2-12): $12.95
- Under 2: Egg Hunt Ticket $3
Season Pass Holders will receive $2 off per ticket
- Adults: $10.95
- Children under age 2, with Season Pass holder will be admitted free of charge.
