In Virginia, the average listing price of a four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is $317,336--and in Reston/Vienna it is $641,783, according to the report.

In Maryland, only Bethesda ranks higher on the list than Reston/Vienna--with its average home costing $782,300.

Nationwide, Reston/Vienna is 160th on the list of most expensive homes, with Newport Beach, CA at the top spot--with an average home costing $2,291,764.
The lowest priced homes of the 2,722 on the list can be found in Cleveland, OH, where the average four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is $74,502.
