RSTA Nears End of 2019 Summer Season
RSTA dual meets have concluded for the 2019 season. The RSTA All Stars meet will be held on July 27.

RSTA teams competed in their sixth and final dual meets of the 2019 season on Saturday, July 20. Records were broken across four of the eight RSTA teams this week.
Matthew Fritz of the Lake Audubon Barracudas beat his own league record in the Boys 15-18 50 Meter Butterfly, that he set last week, by 0.43 seconds with 25.97-second finish. He also set a new team record in the Boys 15-18 50 Meter Freestyle, breaking a 28-year-old team record by 0.32 seconds with a time of 25.17 seconds.
Evan J. Zhang of the North Hills Hurricanes broke his own team record in the Boys 15-18 50 Meter Breaststroke that he set last week by 0.43 seconds, with a finishing time of 30.96 seconds.

Michael Zhou and David Egge of the Lake Newport Lightning both beat the team record of 39.38 seconds in the Boys 11-12 50 Meter Breaststroke set on June 29 by Jason Tipler, with times of 39.32 seconds and 38.34 seconds, respectively. David Egge is the new team record-holder.
Four individual Glade Dolphins swimmers and one Glade relay team broke team records:

- Clara Landeryou broke her own team record set on June 29 in the 13-14 Girls 50 Meter Butterfly by 0.24 seconds with a time of 31.31 seconds.
- Karan Murari beat a two-year-old team record in the 13-14 Boys 50 Meter Butterfly by 0.11 seconds, finishing in 35.95 seconds.
- Thomas Smith broke a one-year-old team record in the 13-14 Boys 50 Meter Freestyle by 0.13 seconds with a 32.38-second finish.
- Marco Anguizola beat two of his own team records set earlier in this season, racing the Boys 11-12 50 Meter Breaststroke in 40.28 seconds (0.93 seconds improvement) and the Boys 11-12 50 Meter Backstroke in 37.57 seconds (0.11 seconds improvement).
- The Glade “mixed age” Boys 6-18 200 Meter Freestyle Relay of David Landeryou, Samuel Briceno, Marco Anguizola, Thomas Smith, and Samuel Joyner topped a two-year-old team record of 2:14.85, completing the race in 2:12.87.
