RSTA Swimmers Return to Racing
Reston Swim Team Association returned to competition on Saturday, July 13 after a brief holiday break.

After a weekend off from competition, RSTA swimmers were ready to race again on July 13!
Two swimmers broke their own records set earlier this season:
- Matthew Fritz beat his own RSTA league record and Lake Audubon team record in the Boys 15-18 50 Meter Butterfly, which he set at the last meet, by 0.02 seconds with a time of 26.40 seconds. He also topped his own team record in the Boys 15-18 50 Meter Backstroke, which he set on June 8, by 0.76 seconds with a time of 27.87 seconds.
- Evan J. Zhang broke a one-year-old North Hills team record in the Boys 15-18 50 Meter Butterfly by 0.47 seconds, finishing in 27.62 seconds. He also set a new team record in the Boys 15-18 50 Meter Breaststroke, beating the previous record that he set on June 29 by 0.06 seconds with a time of 31.39 seconds.
One additional swimmer broke a record set by his teammate earlier this season:

- Marco Anguizola beat the Glade team record in the Boys 11-12 50 Meter Breaststroke set on June 29 by 3.29 seconds, racing to a 41.21-second finish.
