Social4Good Hosts Second Annual Drive for Fairfax Diapers

National Diaper Need Awareness Week Underscores Diaper Need in NOVA

Social4Good, a group of women building a stronger community together, collected 27,817 diapers in September for Fairfax Diapers through the Big Needs, Little Bottoms campaign. That’s more than 10,000 diapers over last year’s total and according to Christine Kenny, Fairfax Diapers Founder, almost enough to fulfill a month’s worth of demand which has tripled since last year.

Diaper Need is the struggle to provide children with clean, dry diapers and affects 1 in 3 families in the U.S. Diaper need is even more distressing to moms than not having enough food for their family.

By working together, as Social4Good did, we can ensure that all babies have access to clean diapers in order for them to reach their full potential.
